I bought a refurbished Palm cell phone last month. I am now having troubles with this one and I am quickly rethinking this decision thinking about my last palm device tanked untimely, precisely. I could not upload my contacts or get Internet access since my phone turned off on Monday.

After two hours I called Palm cell phone customer service and pressing buttons according to their orders, I surrender. And then the person in local store submitted me to the warrantee company when I took it to the local store. It was not longer warranted when I called the warrantee company and was told that because it was a refurbished Palm cell phone.

At last, for instructions of fixing the problems, I began to search on the internet. I tried several gyrations with the Palm cell phone and searched many sites. Finally I have instructed that I must perform a Factory reset when I came into a Palm cell phone support page.

To factory reset my phone, I followed the instructions on this page. Finally I was capable of get most of that information back. But unfortunately, I lost all information that was not saved to the SIM card.

To restore the phone than trouble shoots it, occasionally it is easier for the company. Your alternative is to buy a new Palm cell phone and that give the benefit for the company, especially when it is not under warrantee. You truly have nothing to lose if cannot decide the option of buying a new Palm cell phone or trouble-shooting yourself because technical support has surrender.

Reset the Palm cell phone to factory defaults will get rid of your problems. Believe me, it works.
